An extremely experienced Operational and Technical SME, focussed in the Maritime Command and Control (C2) and Tactical Data Links (TDL) specialisations.  

Stuart has over 16 years’ maritime experience which includes operational use, testing and verification and instructional roles of Royal Navy (RN) C2 and TDL systems during service in the Royal Navy. Proven knowledge and expertise in the operational and technical systems of onboard TDL and C2 systems across the RN fleet.  

A clear thinker with practical experience across many different Naval C2/TDL systems, his skillset includes the drafting of IER’s, understanding of system requirements, writing RN TDL technical doctrine, assisting in RN “first of class” trials for Type 45 destroyer onboard which he was an Operations Room manager and Tactical Picture Director.  

He also has TDL consultancy experience, including working on multi-national TDL projects and delivery of TDL training (L11, L16 & L22) to UK and International customers as well as managing framework contracts from the bid and tender processes through to managing projects once on contract.
